Have you ever been to Maryland Fairs? My first experience with a county fair was when I was in high school and competed for the Anne Arundel County Fair Queen title. I was crowned an Anne Arundel County Fair Princess two years in a row. I had so much fun representing the Fair during the weekend events – pig racing, pie-eating contests, meeting Crystal Gayle, and more.
As a mom, the fair was even sweeter. Seeing my kids in awe at all the animals, checking out all of the handmade submissions, squealing on the rides, and even better? The FOOD!
