The weather has been gorgeous this week, but with Maryland weather, well, ya never know what you’re going to get! It’s hard to burn our children’s energy in the winter. We enlisted the help of our newest Jr Reporter, Mason, age 9, to tell us about his Indoor Pool Fun on Kent Island!
My favorite indoor pool on Kent Island during the winter is at the Aquatic Center at Club One Fitness in Chester. My mom is a member at the gym and brings me alone to use the pool. I had to pass a swim test in order to be able to use the open pool. I like that the kid pool has a fun slide made of a frog’s tongue that you can slide down. And water buckets that splash water everywhere. I spend a lot of time here in the winter. The pool is the perfect temperature for swimming. I plan to have a swimming party here in December for my birthday.
