Cookie Exchange Made Easy on Kent Island

Holiday cookies are so fun-but if you’re like me, baking is not so fun. I love to cook, I love to eat, but baking? It’s not my thing! That’s why is making your cookie exchange easy this year on Kent Island!

Easy Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

This chocolate crinkle cookie recipe is so easy, even I can make it!

1 box devil’s food cake mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar and 1 cup granulated sugar (both for toppings)
1. Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheets). In large bowl, stir dry cake mix, oil, eggs and vanilla with spoon until dough forms.
2. Refrigerate dough 15 to 30 minutes, or as needed for easier handling. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Roll balls in granulated sugar then in powdered sugar. Place cookies about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets
3. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling rack. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. Store tightly covered.
